Manager, State Regulatory Affairs, Con Edison

Christopher Raup is Manager of the State Regulatory Affairs group at Consolidated Edison. Mr. Raup represents Con Edison in discussions with New York Public Service Commission personnel and with other state and local regulatory bodies. His work has included developing the Company’s comments on the New York State Climate Action Plan and the State Energy Plan, and coordinating Con Edison’s position on the State’s Renewable Portfolio Standard. Mr. Raup has also worked in Con Edison’s Energy Markets Policy Group, addressing wholesale energy market issues for the Company, including coordinating transmission planning and market design activities with the New York Independent System Operator and PJM, and conducting natural gas quality discussions with the interstate gas pipelines.

Prior to joining Con Edison in 2006, Mr. Raup worked for KeySpan Corporation in various engineering and strategy related positions. Mr. Raup received an MBA in 2005 from the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands, and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1996 from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York City.
