A licensed engineer in the State of California, Bill spent 15 years working in the wood industry before joining WoodWorks in 2014. He has led the strategic roll out of new product lines, managed technical teams and grown the long-term profitability of business units. Bill has a Master's from Washington State University and an undergraduate degree from South Dakota State University.

WoodWorks is a non-profit organization established and led by the Wood Products Council and funded by the Softwood Lumber Board, USDA Forest Service, Forestry Innovation Investment, and Natural Resources Canada to provide free project assistance, education and resources related to the code-compliant design, engineering and construction of non-residential and multi-family wood buildings.
